Privacy and cookies
Your figures stay on your device. Here is exactly what that means, including how advertising works.
What we collect
The calculators run entirely in your browser. The salary, tax code and other figures you type are never sent to NetPayWise's servers, and we do not store them. The only thing kept on your device is your own preferences (light or dark mode, your selected country and, for shareable links, the values in the page address).
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's local storage to remember your theme and country choice. These are not tracking cookies and can be cleared in your browser settings at any time.
Advertising
This site is intended to show ads served by Google AdSense. When ads are switched on, Google and its partners may use cookies to show ads based on your visits to this and other websites. In the UK, Ireland and the EEA personalised ads will be shown only with your consent, and you will be able to change your choice at any time.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly, aggregated analytics to count page views and understand which calculators are useful. We do not use analytics to identify individual visitors.
Your rights
Under UK and EU data protection law, and Canadian privacy law, you can ask what personal data we hold, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and complain to your data protection authority. Because the calculators do not collect your figures, there is normally nothing to delete.
